Language: This is an English translation of the Spanish (Argentina) Privacy Policy. The Spanish version is the authoritative text and governs in the event of any discrepancy.
1. Responsible party
The party responsible for the processing of the data described in this Policy is Marcos Ezequiel Herrera, referred to in this Policy as Digitaliza Hoy.
2. Scope
This Policy explains what information Digitaliza Hoy processes when a person:
- receives and uses an account created by Digitaliza Hoy;
- writes through the contact form;
- applies to the Partner Programme, or operates as a Partner;
- arrives through a Partner's link.
Digitaliza Hoy processes only the data necessary to operate the site, the accounts and the Partner Programme. It does not verify the civil identity of users, does not request documents, and does not charge or process payments on this site.
This Policy does not cover Perfil Digital, an independent product offered at perfildigital.io under its own terms. Digitaliza Hoy links to it commercially from this site and does not process its data.
3. Account data
Accounts are created or enabled by Digitaliza Hoy for the people authorised to use the private area: there is no public registration on this site. In order to create and administer them, the following are processed:
- email address;
- password stored as a hash, if the person set one up;
- Google account identifier, if the person signs in with Google;
- account status;
- the date on which the email address was confirmed;
- the date of the last sign-in;
- the open sessions, stored as hashes, with their issue and expiry dates;
- the links for setting up access, for recovering the password and for linking a Google account, stored as hashes and single-use.
The email address works as an identifier and is used for security communications, for sending the link that sets up access to a new account, for recovering the password and for administering the account.
Digitaliza Hoy does not keep passwords in readable text.
4. Contact form
When a person writes through the contact form of the institutional site, Digitaliza Hoy may receive:
- name;
- email;
- telephone;
- company;
- message.
This data is used to answer the enquiry and, where appropriate, to continue the commercial conversation requested.
A person may request the deletion of their enquiry by writing to hola@digitalizahoy.com. We handle the request through an internal procedure that deletes the enquiry and the associated delivery records, unless there is a legal obligation or a legitimate reason to keep certain information.
If nobody asks, we set no retention period: enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial relationship remains relevant. An enquiry from years ago may matter again if that person gets back in touch or brings a complaint. This is an internal policy and not a committed period.
5. Technical records
In certain technical records a truncated, one-way hash relating to the connection may be used.
That value is not used to identify visitors or to reconstruct their IP address.
Digitaliza Hoy does not store the IP address in readable text within those records.
6. Data Digitaliza Hoy does not keep
Digitaliza Hoy does not keep:
- card or payment-method data;
- passwords in readable text;
- email or session tokens in readable text within the database;
- the identity of visitors;
- the geolocation of visitors;
- advertising cookies;
- advertising identifiers.
7. Cookies
Public pages
The public pages of Digitaliza Hoy — everything that can be seen without signing in — place no cookie at all in the visitor's browser. Neither does a Partner's link: following it leaves nothing stored in the browser (section 19).
Nor do they use:
- analytics cookies;
- advertising cookies;
- pixels;
- tag managers;
- embedded maps;
- remote fonts;
- third-party cookies.
The lists above describe what those pages do on their own. There is one exception, and the person chooses it: on pressing «Continue with Google» on the sign-in screen, the browser loads code from Google in order to complete that sign-in, and that interaction also becomes governed by Google's terms. Whoever does not press it loads nothing from Google.
Private panel
The signed-in area — the account and, for Partners, their portal — uses two strictly necessary cookies:
- a session cookie;
- a form-protection cookie.
The internal console of the Digitaliza Hoy team additionally uses a session cookie of its own, received only by the team members with access granted.
They are not used for advertising or for following the person's activity on other sites.
8. What the data is used for
Digitaliza Hoy uses the information to:
- create and administer accounts;
- authenticate users;
- answer enquiries;
- assess applications and administer the Partner Programme;
- record and settle Partners' commissions;
- protect the security of the service;
- comply with legal obligations;
- handle requests for access, correction or deletion.
Digitaliza Hoy does not sell personal databases and does not use the information for behavioural advertising.
9. Other providers
Digitaliza Hoy uses third-party services for:
- transactional email;
- signing in with Google.
Transactional email
Transactional email is sent through Resend. The provider receives the destination address and the content of the message. The messages may include verification links, password recovery links, links for accepting the Partner Programme Agreement, and the replies to an application.
Signing in with Google
Whoever chooses «Continue with Google» causes their browser to load a Google component. That component is what asks for the credentials and what returns a signed assertion: the Google password never passes through Digitaliza Hoy at any point.
Digitaliza Hoy does not send Google any data about the person. It verifies that assertion on its own, with the public keys Google publishes for that purpose, without asking Google anything about who is signing in.
That is why Google does not appear in section 15, among the providers that may keep information after a deletion: there is nothing to ask it to erase. Whatever Google may have recorded on its side about those sign-ins remains under its own terms, as on any other site where one signs in with Google.
Providers may use infrastructure located outside Argentina and process the information under their own terms and policies.
10. Retention
Digitaliza Hoy keeps the information for as long as it is necessary in order to provide the service, administer the commercial relationship, answer requests or comply with legal obligations.
The following technical periods currently apply:
- link for setting up access to a new account: single-use; it expires, and the period is stated in the same email that sends it;
- password recovery link: one hour;
- session: the session cookie lasts up to 30 days and is renewed with use; a single session may be extended for a maximum of 90 days, after which it is necessary to sign in again.
The links sent by email are single-use and are stored as hashes.
Commercial enquiries have no fixed retention period: they are kept for as long as the commercial relationship remains relevant, and anyone may ask for theirs to be deleted.
Applications to the Partner Programme that do not advance are deleted after twelve months, as described in section 18.
The tracking record of a Partner link, described in section 19, has no fixed deletion period: there is no tool that erases it. That record does not identify anyone.
The Partners' commission ledger, their settlements, the audit records of the internal console and the records of internal access may be kept for as long as necessary in order to comply with obligations or protect rights.
11. Security
Digitaliza Hoy applies measures such as:
- hashing of passwords;
- hashing of links and tokens;
- single-use links;
- expiry of links;
- security cookies;
- absence of card and payment-method data.
No system is completely infallible. Digitaliza Hoy does not warrant that a failure, loss or unauthorised access can never occur.
12. People's rights
A person may request:
- information about the data associated with their account;
- correction of incorrect data;
- updating;
- deletion of data.
Requests must be sent to hola@digitalizahoy.com.
Digitaliza Hoy may request reasonable information in order to verify that the person making the request controls the account or is authorised to act.
There is no button that exports or deletes the account on its own. Each request is handled by a member of the team who, for deletion, runs the procedure described in section 15 using an internal tool.
13. Access
A person may ask for information about the data associated with their account and the use Digitaliza Hoy makes of it.
The reply is prepared manually and sent by a suitable means.
There is currently no automatic download of data.
14. Correction
The account holder may change their password directly from their account.
For any other data, they may ask for a correction by writing to hola@digitalizahoy.com.
15. Deletion of the account and data
Deletion is requested by writing to hola@digitalizahoy.com.
The procedure may include:
- replacement of the email address with an artificial address;
- invalidation of the password and of the link with Google;
- deactivation of the account;
- deletion of the sessions and of the pending links associated with the account.
A Partner's commission ledger and settlements, the audit records of the internal console and the records of internal access may be kept where necessary in order to comply with obligations or protect rights.
Deletion carried out by Digitaliza Hoy does not necessarily mean that the email provider deletes data it keeps under its own policies or obligations.
16. Changes to this Policy
Digitaliza Hoy may update this Policy when the product, the operation or the applicable rules change.
Important changes will be communicated by a reasonable means.
The date of the version in force will be shown at the beginning of the document.
17. Contact
For enquiries about privacy, correction, access or deletion:
hola@digitalizahoy.com
18. Applications to the Partner Programme
Whoever applies to the Partner Programme completes a public form. Digitaliza Hoy may receive:
- first and last name;
- email;
- telephone;
- country and city or commercial area;
- industries, channels and products of interest;
- commercial experience and references, in free text;
- the date on which they accepted the programme rules.
This data is used solely to assess the application and reply to it. It is not used for advertising, is not shared with third parties, and is not cross-referenced with the data of a site account.
The review is manual: it is read by a member of the team, not by an automatic system, and the reply arrives by email.
An application that does not advance is kept for twelve months from its receipt and is then deleted. If the application is approved, the data becomes part of the relationship with the Partner and is kept for as long as that relationship remains in force.
Anyone may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of their application by writing to hola@digitalizahoy.com, unless there is a legal obligation or a legitimate reason to keep certain information.
19. The Partner link
A Partner shares a link of their own in the form `digitalizahoy.com/r/their-code`. Following that link leaves nothing stored in the browser of whoever follows it: it leads to the site's home page and nothing more.
What Digitaliza Hoy does do is record in its own systems that the link was followed: the code the link carried, the moment, the general category of device and the general category of origin. That record keeps no name, email, IP address or any data that identifies the visitor, and is not linked to any account. It serves to tell whether a link is being used.
Digitaliza Hoy does not attribute accounts to a Partner automatically. Arriving through a Partner's link does not link that person, or any account, to the Partner, and the Partner does not receive the name, email or telephone of whoever arrived through their link.
A sale is recorded in a Partner's name when it took place outside this site and the Partner themselves reported it. Digitaliza Hoy records it by hand, with the Partner's code and with the name of the client the Partner gave, and that name is the only client data the Partner sees: no email, no telephone and no other data is added to it. It is the name they themselves gave us in order to record that sale.
Anyone who prefers their visit not to be associated with a Partner's code can enter the site without using the Partner's link: by typing digitalizahoy.com directly into the browser, no tracking is recorded.
